This blog seems to be more of a photo blog even though I'm not a photographer at all. But let it be - at least a for a while. Here are some photos from my iPhone with nice filters - good to share some of the Moscow-winter spirit :)

Winter Memories

hi! in november i finally managed to finish an album about winter 2009-2010! i'm happy and proud! i started this album on Carolyn Peeler class and it took me about a year to add all the photos i wanted :) now i'm happy to show it to you :) I'm quite sorry for the photos.. I borrowed a big nikon camera from my friend to make photos - but.. i must have borrowed my friend's hands too i suppose... i'm not good at making photos just now.. so i'm sorry, really. i hope you'll watch it never the less (fingers crossed :) )

The first pages.. It's me and John :) The text is in Russian and it tells about my intentions concerning this album. I'm glad that i have finally fulfilled it :)

 

 

 

We loved playing board games! Well we still love it :) But on that winter hlidays we gathered together almost every day and played-played-played :) We like Settlers of Catan, Civilization and Monopoly :)

 

 

The left page is about me and Naphanya and how we made scrapbooking tags and then gave them to Rebecca Sower's haitibyhand shop. (here's a link to haitybyhand blog)I was glad that we had an opportunity to help. The right page is about New Year celebration at Yandex office where I work. It was much fun there with lots of baloons and many-many tables with food!

February, 1th is John's Birthday. I love this day - we celebrate it with his best friends - very warm and cozy.

 

 

St. Valentine's Day is winter too =) This year we went to Hard Rock cafe Moscow - for the first time - and it really rocks! :) Photos with a nice pot are from Grimm Sisters cafe - I love their pots!!! But I did broke that one from the photo. I managed to save a small part of it - it's still with my scrap stuff.

Very bad quality :( But this is my favourite page. It says that at the beginning of this album i wrote down a wish - to buy a car - and we did it just at the end of winter, on February, 13th! This is he! My most beloved Peugeot 307, called R2. He's our best helper in just everything!

PIF photos

I've finally managed to make some photos of Aladori's PIF (thanks for the iPhone). Now I can share with you all the treasures I got. The PIF present was the wooden wall hanging word WELCOME, look it is gorgeous, isn't it? I just love it and it suits our entrance hall so well. Another parish mood wallhanging is made using decoupage technique, it looks so romantic! All the other pictures show craft supplies Aladori sent to me, yum-yum). Polina, thank you once again! hope you'll like the photos!)

PIF

Yesterday I got a huge postage - there was PIF from Aladori. Dear Polina, thank you so so much! The box was full of precious stuff :) Aladory made for me a wooden word Welcome decorated in shabby chic style - so lovely. Photos will follow soon :)

Kid's birthday!

Today we're invited to our friends' son BD :) SO exciting. He's 4. I've never been to a kid's birthday as an adult, lol. We've got him lego with Disney's "the Cars", he's a great fan of "the Cars", hope he'll love it. Oh I hope he'll love this day :)
